Winter Warrior Endurance Race Round 1 @ Kangaroo Lake, Winter season 2026

❄️ VJSBA Winter Warrior PWC Racing – Round 1 ❄️

Get ready for an action-packed weekend of PWC racing as the VJSBA Winter Warrior Championship heads to Kangaroo Lake – Main Boat Ramp No. 1 for Round 1 of our two-round winter series.

📅 Saturday 29 August Saturday is dedicated to track setup and scrutineering. All riders are encouraged to come along and lend a hand setting up the course. Once the track is complete (hopefully around midday), we'll be doing a few familiarisation/look laps for riders who are there.

📅 Sunday 30 August It's race day!

We'll be running endurance racing, with:

Ski classes racing together.

Runabout classes racing together.

Beginner classes will run separately if there are 8 or more entries.

All competitors will require either:

A valid AJSBA 12-month Race Licence, or

An AJSBA Day Licence.

For everyone's safety, qualified medical personnel will be on and off the water throughout the event.

As it's winter, please dress for the conditions and make sure you bring all of your required safety gear. Ensure your ski is in good working order, as all craft will undergo scrutineering on Saturday, with late arrivals being scrutineered Sunday morning.

🏕 Accommodation The Kangaroo Lake Caravan Park is located right next to the race site, making it the perfect place to stay for the weekend.

🍻 VJSBA Annual General Meeting Our AGM is planned for Saturday night from 7:00 pm onwards at the Mystic Park Hotel. All members, families and guests are welcome to attend.

⚠️ Please Note Kangaroo Lake will be closed to the general public during racing operations over the weekend.
