We are thrilled to announce that we have secured a new venue on the water, thanks to the Glenmaggie & District Boat Club (GDBC). The event will take place at Lake Glenmaggie. This will be a two-day event, with Saturday designated as a mandatory training day. All riders must pass this training to qualify for Sunday’s racing.   Beginners will have the opportunity to learn the track by following our track coordinator during look laps in their class group. After that, each rider will need to navigate the track independently. To achieve a satisfactory practical pass, you must complete the split starts and the entire track. Additionally, you need to fill out the online questionnaire to be eligible for Sunday’s race. On Sunday, racing will be open to all participants who have successfully completed the training day assessment and the beginners' basic exam.   Please note that the entry deadline for all participants is Wednesday 5th of February, before the event weekend on February 8-9. We are offering early bird entries starting now until one week before the event date (February 1, 2025), with an early bird fee of $250. After that, the entry fee will increase to $280, so be sure to take advantage of this early bird opportunity to secure your spot at a lower price. An event is scheduled with Maritime (Safe Transport Victoria) on January 18, 2025, at the Safety Beach boat ramp from 8 AM to 3 PM.   The club is expected to conduct a brief water demonstration focusing on 5 knots and various skills.   Participation is limited to VJSBA riders and members, so I am reaching out to everyone involved to gauge interest in attending.   The event is complimentary, and skis will be provided; participants need only to bring their safety gear. We will feature both stand-up and runabout activities to enhance the experience. Please inform me if you are interested in participating.   Food trucks will be available on-site, and we are also planning some giveaways.   AJSBA 12 month license must be valid prior to your participation. Breath test will be performed as per AJSBA alcohol policy. Card and penalty systems will be applied for any riders not following event rules and any misconduct.

So who is ready for PWC endurance closed course racing's return to Kangaroo Lake in 2024? Well stay tuned for more info as this will be 2024's return of racing to Kangaroo Lake, last race meet at Kangaroo lake was March 2022. This will be a 2 day event, the Saturday is a training day( mandatory and a satisfactory pass for all riders to compete for Sundays racing event).   For Beginners you will be shown the track by look laps( following our track coordinator) in your class group, then you will each individually have to navigate the track correctly on your own.   You must complete track for a satisfactory practical pass. You must complete the online questionnaire to compete for Sundays race.   The Sunday will be racing for everyone entered and passed the training day assessment.   Early Bird entries start 01.05.2024 and will end on the 23rd of May ( 23.05.2024) fee will be $250 after this date so take advantage of this 2 week early bird offer.   Event fee of $250 will close off for all entrants on Saturday (15.06.2024) prior to the events dates (29th-30th of June weekend), after this date event entry will be $300 until close off date (27.06.2024)   We may consider on Saturday entries however this will only be allowed if we have any space for your entry and this will also incur a late fee of $50 on top of your $300 late entry fee. stay tuned for more updates and we hope to see you there. ***This event is an AJSBA sanctioned event with event public liability insurance as well permits and exemptions applied for by local laws as well as MSV exemptions. It is with great pleasure to inform you we have secured a new waterway venue, courtesy of the Glenmaggie & District Boat Club (GDBC). Location is Lake Glenmaggie. This will be a 2 day event, the Saturday is a training day (mandatory and a satisfactory pass for all riders to compete for Sundays racing event).   For Beginners you will be shown the track by look laps( following our track coordinator) in your class group, then you will each individually have to navigate the track correctly on your own.   You must do the split starts and the complete track for a satisfactory practical pass. You must complete the online questionnaire to compete for Sunday’s race.   The Sunday will be racing for everyone who has entered and passed the training day assessment and beginners basic exam. Event entry close off for all entrants will be the Wednesday (15.02.2023) prior to the events dates (18th-19th of February weekend). We are offering early bird entries from now and up until 2 week prior the events date (04.02.2023), early bird entry fee will be $180. Within 2 weeks of the event entries will go to $230 so please take advantage of this opportunity for cheaper entry and secure your spot during the early bird entry time frame.
